We know this can be a pain, and we’re sorry for asking you to do it. The desktop slack app (thankfully) offers an option to turn this off, but not the mobile app. Options like the flexibility to bookmark a web page, seek for particular textual content, or request the desktop web site are lacking.

Settings for the whole app are buried inside channels/conversations. Creating a cohesive internal slack experience with mio for enterprises. Still, i didn't figure out the url that should be used for opening a certain team, channel or message. Then select help > troubleshooting > clear cache and restart.
