Merrill Edge Application Denied. They don't have levels though, so option permission is permission to sell naked options, better to be safe and protect newbies from the market. This is exactly what i put on the application and i still have that account today.
I had a decent liquid savings, zero options experience, and no income but very high net worth and household income when i applied for selling options on merrill edge and tdameritade. I believe experience is the most prominent factor. I was fully denied of all options on merrill but given tier 1 (selling) options on tdameritrade.
The customer service is garbage.

I fill orders at fido and ib that i just don't think would happen at merrill edge, but if you deal in only liquid stocks that probably doesn't matter. Ib asks for a ton of experience as well, some resellers ask you to fluff up the application of you'll get denied, like, fill in 2y of 20 trades a month.
