Apple Home App Not Responding. To use and manage your home in the home app on all of your devices, sign in to icloud with your apple id on every device. Make sure that your device is set up as a home hub:
To use the home app on a mac, update your mac to the latest version of macos. If it’s only the ecobee that isn’t responding, you'll need to reboot and reconnect your ecobee from the apple home app. Open the home app on your ios device or mac that's signed in with the apple id used to set up homepod.
Updated ios and tvos, cycled power on and off, signed out/in on apple tv cloud login, etc.
Try removing and repairing homepod from the home app. Now, reopen the app to check whether it works well or not. Go to home settings > tap home icon > check home hubs to see if your home hub is connected. Simply restarting (turn off and turn on) may fix this.
