On windows 8.1 i was on explorer , and changed to edge when i updated to windows 10. If you can sign in to your ancestry account using a browser, but not through the app, uninstall and reinstall the ancestry app and then try to sign in again. If you can’t sign in using either the app or a browser, reset your password.

For some reason i can not connect to the site now. Since genetics are unpredictable, you can look completely different from what your dna and ancestry looks like, based on even one ancestor you had. While the cost of ancestrydna’s ancestry test is similar to 23andme, i feel like i got a lot more interesting information from the latter, which means more value for the money.
